This time last year, we were all hopeful that December 2021 would see us all back to “normal”. It hasn’t quite worked out that way, but at the end of our first full year of working from home and juggling Covid in our lives, we are so proud of how the team has adapted to the new version of normal. We are also full of gratitude to our remarkable clients and team members, and optimistic about what 2022 holds.
While some of our team have been on set all around the world, the rest of us have continued working together from our own homes. Our team has grown significantly this year and we’ve welcomed lots of new faces to join the more familiar ones!
This year our VFX, Graphics and Visualisation departments have been thrilled to see some of the amazing projects come to life on screen, like Netflix’s The Irregulars, Apple’s Foundation and the final season of Amazon’s Hanna.
We’re also incredibly excited about the upcoming releases of many major projects, including Andor, Avenue 5 Series 2, The Batman, Borderlands, House of the Dragon, John Wick: Chapter 4, The King's Man, Luther, Morbius, Peacemaker, Secret Invasion & The Witcher: Blood Origin.
Here at NVIZ we feel privileged as a team to have carried on doing what we love this year. It has, however, continued to be a challenging and difficult time for many in the wider industry, so this year we have donated to The Film & TV Charity. Their mission is to build a happier, healthier TV, film and cinema community. During the pandemic the charity offered support and help to around 1 in 20 industry workers.
Heading into 2022, NVIZ is creating visualisation, graphics and VFX for studios such as Netflix, HBO, Warner Bros, NBC, DC, Heyday Films, BBC, and Apple TV+. We’re looking forward to adding even more to the list as we continue to grow and thrive.
In closing, we like to wish you all a happy holiday season and that together we can look forward to a happy, peaceful and prosperous new year.
Love from NVIZ xx
